Since 2019, I’ve been working in the film industry and know this is where I truly belong.
These years have been full of adventures, from risky border crossings with sensitive materials to living in a camper van right next to the set. But above all, they’ve been filled with incredible and inspiring experiences. I love collaborating with different people to bring ideas to life, always on the lookout for creative solutions. Sometimes, that means rigging myself and the camera to a car hood for a shot or melting snow over a fire to shoot a bathtub scene at 1,700 meters — without running water or electricity.
Working on feature films has taught me how to manage large sets with their crew and extensive equipment. On the other hand, my documentary projects have shown me how to strip everything down to the essentials and make the most of what’s available. Over the years, I’ve built up a broad expertise in visual storytelling, but what excites me most is uncovering a unique visual language for every project, again and again.
