A group of young students from the Rosenheim Waldorf School travels to Tunisia under the guidance of Sibylle Stier to meet refugees stranded in the North African country. Through intense encounters, shared experiences, and artistic processes, a powerful picture of understanding emerges — but also of friction. Different realities of life lead to tensions that both the students and the refugees must navigate together.

Accompanied by community dance choreographer Josef Eder, the students explore a reality that stands in stark contrast to their own. After ten days, they return to Germany, where they process their experiences through the theater production Niemandsland.

The documentary captures this unique exchange, highlights the personal growth of the students, and sheds light on a frequently overlooked humanitarian situation.
